AMAZONIA

I’ve been lucky enough to travel to the Peruvian Amazon twice in my life, the first being one of the formative trips in my photography career, the second, a chance to go back and hone my shooting aspirations. Staying with the Crees foundation in the Manu national park, I worked for a couple of months in the forest to track down illusive wildlife using camera traps. Deploying three systems, I toiled with the challenges of the weather, local invertebrates and constant humidity, to finally capture some shots of the rainforest mega fauna in their environment! Alongside my remote cameras I was out daily with the researchers and volunteers looking for wildlife, as well as capturing the landscape of the Amazon for this portfolio of work.
